Fashion is a complex, social phenomenon that cannot be understood in the absence of its socio-cultural and anthropological context. In order to illustrate this fact, the artist offers a presentation of Las Lunas: store windows of the major Fashion Houses viewed from the street, in all their exhibitionistic splendor. He compellingly exposes the erotic codes of the textiles, captures the promises a mannequin insinuates, the projection of desire that emanates from a display of merchandise. Vicente Peris achieves it all through a synthesis of painting and photography, creating an innovative form of contemporary expression.
